The Connecticut Mises Caucus is building a network of liberty-minded people committed to property rights, Austrian economics, decentralization, and effective local action.
We believe lasting political change is built from the ground up — through strong local organizations, principled candidates, issue coalitions, and a vibrant culture of liberty.
WHO WE ARE
Bringing the Mises Caucus Strategy to Connecticut
The Libertarian Party Mises Caucus exists to recruit, train, and support people committed to sustained libertarian political, cultural, and educational action. Its principles begin with self-ownership, private property, the non-aggression principle, political self-determination, and the Austrian School of Economics.
Here in Connecticut, our goal is to apply those principles where people can participate directly: in our towns, local institutions, communities, and state government.
We are building relationships across the state, helping people understand how local government works, supporting principled involvement, organizing around concrete issues, and creating opportunities for liberty-minded people to meet one another.

Principles Before Politics
PROPERTY RIGHTS
Private property and self-ownership are essential foundations of individual liberty and peaceful cooperation.
AUSTRIAN ECONOMICS
Economic policy should be informed by the Austrian School's understanding of human action, scarcity, markets, and government intervention.
SOUND MONEY
Money and banking should be separated from the state, allowing voluntary competition among free-market monies and currencies.
DECENTRALIZATION
Political authority should be pushed downward through subsidiarity, localism, nullification, and ultimately toward individual self-determination.
